Just a thought

As lesbians see it and also abortionists see it, thought I would include this pic of a rant against man, makes you think.

Are black cats lucky

The pope is being asked to speak out against the killing of black cats, 60,000 killed so far. They are seen to be the devil incarnate or associates and are being ruthlessly killed.

The above cat is lucky as he is a patchwork cat. Not sure why a totally black cat should be considered something to do with the devil. Speaks to me of stupidity.

Childs right to a Dad?

Sunday Mail front page, does the child have a right to a father? 3 million children are living in a single parent household, says the poll. This new discussion will allow same sex couples to be parents, so at least these children will have 2 parents, but how do you define a father in same sex?

Raven

The poem The Raven, by Edgar Allen Poe. If I was opening the door to the tapping, I would hope the tapping was not just a black bird, but this maid, she could sit with me anytime.

The days of short numbers and no area code, it is wonderful to find the original number on this working garage in Silverdale.

Do you Believe!

Missed but not forgotten

by: Joyce Kilmer

When you had played with life a space
And made it drink and lust and sing,
You flung it back into God's face
And thought you did a noble thing.
"Lo, I have lived and loved," you said,
"And sung to fools too dull to hear me.
Now for a cool and grassy bed
With violets in blossom near me."
Well, rest is good for weary feet,
Although they ran for no great prize;
And violets are very sweet,
Although their roots are in your eyes.
But hark to what the earthworms say
Who share with you your muddy haven:
"The fight was on -- you ran away.
You are a coward and a craven."
The rug is ruined where you bled;
It was a dirty way to die!
To put a bullet through your head
And make a silly woman cry!
You could not vex the merry stars
Nor make them heed you, dead or living.
Not all your puny anger mars
God's irresistible forgiving.
Yes, God forgives and men forget,
And you're forgiven and forgotten.
You may be gaily sinning yet
And quick and fresh instead of rotten.
And when you think of love and fame
And all that might have come to pass,
Then don't you feel a little shame?
And don't you think you were an ass?"

Damn you ...we miss you so much

The female of the species

So it comes that Man, the coward, when he gathers to confer

With his fellow-braves in council, dare not leave a place for her

Where, at war with Life and Conscience, he uplifts his erring hands

To some God of Abstract Justice--which no woman understands.

Rudyard Kipling

Fair

Life is never fair, and perhaps it is a good thing for most of us that it is not.

Life with a Knife

This girl is a tight lipped!

'Witches just aren't like that,' said Magrat. 'We live in harmony with the great cycles of Nature, and do no harm to anyone, and it's wicked of them to say we don't. We ought to fill their bones with hot lead.'

(Terry Pratchett, Wyrd Sisters)

Pony girl

Another photo from my collection. Enjoy, but leave you with some words from Laurens van der Post, one of my favourite writers.

Human beings are perhaps never more frightening than when they are convinced beyond doubt that they are right.

Red velvet

Another photo I found, and too good not to share with others.

I just have the feeling that the red latex suit is rather more like wearig a pair of pyjamas.

You carve through what is known and you come to this precipice between what is known and the unknown, and that's where the research scientist lives. And that is what excites a person to rush to work every day.
